GUYS. HELP.
I really want to cosplay. I'm going to be going to Austin on Halloween and be awesome. But, I don't know who to cosplay. e.e
yes, Im already going to start working on my cosplay a month from halloween, why? BECAUSE MY MOTHER IS SLOW AT MAKING THINGS.
I want to cosplay Taokaka. But then again, she's too awesome for me to cosplay, plus I don't think my mother could make her cosplay for me. .w.
any idea's on who to cosplay? e.e
/really really wants to be Taokaka. Dx
IT'S KILLING ME, SHE'S THE MOST AWESOMEST ANIME CHARACTER EVER. I WANT TO COSPLAY HER.
I'm not going to cosplay Hatsune Miku, because I already cosplayed her, and it was a nightmare, pluss I ruined the wig. e.e

TAOKAKA. MUST. COSPLAY. TAOKAKA.

Taokaka is really adorable, but it might get chilly for Halloween night, especially if you plan on being outside. If you do her, I'd suggest keeping her coat closed and wearing some tights that match the coat's color scheme, or you'll be freezing your buns off!

As for the TIME it takes, starting a month beforehand might not be enough for her, depending on what all else your mum has to do. You COULD be your fantroll, you know. carve the horns out of styrofoam (found at any craft store in big enough blocks) using a steak knife, mold a smoother shape out over them with latex paint, and paint over them for the color. Super or hot glued to a cheap headband and you're good, because her hair matches yours pretty well...A shirt and pants can have the capricorn symbol and polkadots painted on in fabric paint...the biggest trouble would be skin paint, and some finishing powder to set it so it doesn't rub off over everything. If you REALLY had a loving mother, you could get some yellow sclera contact lenses, but they're SUPER expensive. They cover the whole white of your eye. [link] if you were wondering.

I love Taokaka, I sooo want to be her for halloween. ;-;
If I did cosplay her, I defiantly would wear tights!

I've ALWAYS wanted to cosplay my own character, ESPECIALLY MY FANTROLL!! but, I don't think my mother would EVEN think about letting me walk arond with those expensive contacts in, or grey skin, she's too lazt to do that! D:

Most kids who cosplayed the trolls at A-kon this year didn't do contacts, but because their costumes are otherwise so simple, most of the ones who didn't do SOMETHING to make their skin grey (other options include grey shoulder-lenth opera gloves or grey tights with finger holes for their arms and only painted their faces --extra easy in the case of Gamzee cosplayers, as he is literally a clown make-up costume set to completion) got a lot of flack.

Haha, my friend wanted us to do Sabriel Cosplay for this Halloween, and for the most part, my costume would be super simple --I'd make myself an orange jacket, find myself a little whistle to clip to it, and otherwise wear items I already own. I'm not sure if I'll have the time to make the jacket, though, with student teaching going on. I START TOMORROW, GIGI, WISH ME GOOD LUCK!

Eh, I guess your right, the whole skin thing isn't too hard, it's pretty easy. I just don't know though, it's hard thinking over Taokaka or My Fantroll, because they are both super cute, and sooo..... cosplayable! D:

I WISH YOU LUCK! :'D

Well, Taokaka should be done when you KNOW you have the time to work on it. I know your mom does the sewing, but a lot of work can be saved for her if you make your own accessories. If you think you have the time to do her during the school year, good on you, but I try to keep more complicated projects for summer or winter break. In comparison, your fantroll is much simpler as a costume. All else fails, you could try for Taokaka but gather supplies for the fantroll on the chance that you'll need to slap her together quickly.

THANK YOU! :'D
